What is Backwords?

The point of Backwords is simple: take a phrase, reverse it, mimic how it sounds reversed, and reverse that to hear a (hilarious) version of the original phrase. Everyone has a unique backwards voice - you just have to try it! What may seem like an odd thing to do can provide endless good times for you, your family, and your friends. Smiles and laughs are guaranteed!

Party Mode!

Party Mode is where the action is. Gather a group of friends and pass the app around as you take turns creating phrases for each other to try and figure out. You can set the number of rounds, a time limit (for frantic fun), and Backwords will provide categories for you to keep the game rolling (the Premium version let's you create your own categories). Try it once with a group and you'll be hooked, laughing on the floor! Play every human for itself, or in teams!

Listen to any Backwords you have saved before (from both Quick Record and Party Mode), rename them if you'd like, and email them as sound clips to your friends! In the premium version, you can post your recordings to the official Backwords Posterous blog, tweet your recordings with your twitter account, or post to your facebook wall!
